Functieomschrijving

As our Polymer Application Specialist, you play a crucial role in the further development of our product. You own the decisions for polymers in our thin film solar product. As our main polymer specialist, you support our engineering and research teams in process research, recipe optimization, component decisions and product design. You improve our solar product through process optimization and choosing different polymer solutions for encapsulation, front sheets, back sheets, lamination, etc. You guide polymer reliability research through i.e. peel testing and transparency measurements, using aging techniques such as damp heat, humidity freeze, thermal cycling, UV-Exposure, etc. You are part of the Research & development Team and report directly to the Director of Technology. HyET Solar is a scale-up company where changes are a part of everyday life.

HyET Solar is developing a product that will add a large value to the energy transition. The entire roll-to-roll production process of our lightweight flexible solar foil is unique in this world and our teams work constantly on optimization and improvements. We have 20 machines on site, in different stages of progress. They operate in a clean environment, are quite slow moving and handle several processes (i.e. gas deposition, lamination or drying).
