• We offer a full-time contract for 40 hours per week;
• Salary between € 4.500,00 and € 5.200,00 based on a full-time contract, based on your experience and competencies;
• 27 leave days and 13 scheduled paid days off based on a full-time contract;

Functieomschrijving

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Front-End Team Lead to join our innovative team in roll-to-roll manufacturing of lightweight flexible PV modules. In this role you manage a team of highly skilled engineers, and you team up with the operators involved. Together you are optimizing the front-end machines of our production line with a key focus on structure, quality and efficiency.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in front-end production processes, especially with wet chemical processing and thin film deposition techniques, namely, APCVD, Sputtering, and PECVD.

You manage a team of Frontend Process Engineers. You build a team that takes ownership and responsibility for the steps in the overall process. By doing so, you create continuous improvement and new developments. Together you work on process optimization, stringent quality control measures and safety on the floor. 
Within HyET Solar you work closely with the colleagues of the Back-End team and the team of R&D. You report directly to the Director Operations. All of this takes place in a scale-up environment, where processes aren’t fully clear, and changes are on every day’s agenda.

What do you bring:

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field;
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in semiconductor and/or roll-to-roll manufacturing industries;
• Minimum of 5 years proven experience in team management and leadership;
• You have a passion for renewable energy and want to contribute to the next step in the energy transition;
• You have a problem-solving mindset, have a good eye for detail and you can set priorities.

Arnhem-based HyET Solar has developed a pioneering technology for the production of solar panels. Our cost-efficient production method of lightweight flexible PV foil on rolls enables many new applications and leads to greatly reduced installation costs. Examples of applications include integration into roof and facade panels, covering vaulted roofs and movable panels on canvas. HyET Solar now produces with a roll-to-roll production line in Arnhem will start building a scaled-up plant for large-scale production next year.
